Electronic Positive Response (EPR) is a system facilitated by Blue Stakes to provide member facility operators with the opportunity to electronically post their responses to each Locate Request for the excavator. Currently, EPR is voluntary for facility operators in Utah. However, Blue Stakes highly encourages every member facility operator to actively participate in EPR to help facilitate communication of their response to each locate request and a safer excavation environment across the state.
To assist with this communication, an email is automatically sent to the excavator on the legal date shown on the locate request with any posted Electronic Positive Responses.

To check the electronic responses for your locate requests under Tools, click “Check Locate Request Responses” and enter your ticket number to see the participating member facility operators and their posted responses.
